Our Cottage, Quailwood is just a lob away from the tennis club in the heart of East Chop. The Cottage was built by our grandparents in the mid 1950s and is an ideal spot for a family or couples get away.
Set back off quiet Lexington « Avenue », the house is situated on more than an acre amongst pines and oaks and has off street parking space for several cars. Enter via a roomy outdoor living space, the « breezeway », with dining table and a comfy living area for a cocktail hour, family games or that afternoon nap you so deserve.
Just two steps up through French doors you will access the main house, first finding the dining area and large living room.
The fully equipped kitchen is off the dining area and has everything you’ll need for preparing those shore dinners you have been imagining for the rest of the year.
Quailwood has three spacious bedrooms: one master with a queen bed and two twins, sleeping six comfortably. The twin rooms share a full bath and the master bedroom has an attached half-bath with quick access to the outdoor shower, which is « in the back » just off the kitchen and utility room with washer. A clothes dryer is also available. The cottage is furnished with care and we hope that you will feel like family among the various antiques, heirlooms and island scenes painted by our grandparents more than 50 years ago.
